Joanne's CBD is a strain with 25% indica and 75% sativa genes that has a high cannabidiol content. The variety received its cannabinoid profile from the parent strains Juanita la Lagrimosa and Session. As a descendant of Juanita, Joanne's CBD belongs to an extensive lineage of CBD legends.

Juanita la Lagrimosa is believed to be the first cannabis strain to reach a CBD content of 15%. Due to its effect and low THC content, the strain has won numerous awards at the High Times Cannabis Cup. Although the strain offers an attractive cannabinoid profile, it often lacks size and productivity.

The breeders at Royal Queen Seeds have addressed this drawback by introducing some much-needed Session genetics into the mix. This towering hybrid delivers a huge yield and descends from the Kalijah strain, which is characterized by a high CBD content.

After a period of hybridization and stabilization, RQS was rewarded with stable Joanne's CBD seeds. The breeders had successfully combined the cannabinoid profile of Juanita la Lagrimosa with the size and production potential of Session.

The growth of Joanne's CBD

Joanne's CBD seeds have a high germination rate and produce plants that are very easy to care for. This strain can also be effectively tamed through low-stress training and pruning techniques.

Plants grown in a grow tent will reach medium size and yield up to 550 grams/m² after a short flowering period of 7 to 8 weeks.

Plants grown outdoors reach a maximum height of 200cm and an impressive yield of up to 475 grams/plant. You can expect to harvest your flowers in early October.
